Welcome to Ceremonial Candles! We are thrilled that you've chosen to trust us for your special occasion. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our products and services. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. General Information
1.1 Business Overview:
Ceremonial Candles specializes in creating custom, decorative candles for weddings and other special events. Our candles are designed with care, and each piece is made to order to meet your specific requirements.
1.2 Agreement Acceptance:
By placing an order with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not place an order or use our services.
2. Orders and Design Approval
2.1 Order Process:
Once you place an order, we will work with you to confirm the details and design of your decorative candle(s). All orders are made to your specifications, and design work is done in consultation with you.
2.2 Design Confirmation:
Before we proceed with manufacturing, we will send you a final design proof for approval. You must carefully review and confirm the design. Once the design is approved, no further changes can be made, and the production process will begin.
2.3 Design Changes:
Once a design is approved, no modifications can be made to the order. If you request changes after approval, additional charges may apply and production may be delayed.
3. Refunds and Returns
3.1 No Refunds After Design Confirmation:
We understand that purchasing a custom product is a significant decision. However, due to the custom nature of our candles, once you have approved your design, we cannot accept cancellations, refunds, or returns. We encourage you to double-check all details and ask any questions before confirming your design.
3.2 Defective or Damaged Products:
Due to the delicate nature of our custom-made candles, and to ensure the product is in its best possible condition for your event, we ask that any requests for a refund, return, or replacement be made within 48 hours of receiving your product. This helps us ensure that any issues can be addressed in a timely manner, allowing us to send replacements before your event and prevent any damage from misuse. We will request photos of the product to assess the issue. We are not responsible for damages caused during shipping that are not reported within 48 hours of delivery.
3.3 Non-Returnable Items:
Due to the custom nature of our candles, all orders are non-returnable once shipped and design is confirmed. Please ensure all details are correct before finalizing your purchase.
4. Candle Usage and Care
4.1 Lighting the Candle:
Our decorative candles are designed to enhance the aesthetics of your event, not to be lit for long periods of time. We strongly advise that these candles are not lit after its intended occasion as they are crafted primarily for display purposes. We recommend only lighting the candle(s) for a maximum of 3 hours throughout it's lifetime. Lighting the candle may compromise its appearance, or damage the product permanently.
4.2 Fire Hazard Warning:
For your safety, we do not recommend lighting these decorative candles for long periods of time. Lighting them poses a fire hazard, and the flame could cause burns, release fumes, or result in damage to the candle and surrounding areas.
4.3 Post-Event Care:
We recommend keeping the candle as a keepsake or decorative item once the event has passed. If you do choose to light the candle, it will be at your own risk, and we cannot be held responsible for any damage, injury, or safety hazards caused by doing so.
4.4 LED Candle Care: Our decorative LED candles are battery operated. They are only intended to be used indoors. Exposing them to water or leaving them outside (ie. on a grave) may result in permanent damage of the product.
5. Shipping and Delivery
5.1 Shipping Timeframes:
We aim to deliver all orders in a timely manner. Delivery times may vary depending on the shipping destination. Please allow adequate time for production, particularly if you are ordering for a specific event. We recommend placing your order a minimum of 2 weeks in advance.
5.2 Shipping Costs:
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address. Any customs or import duties applicable are the responsibility of the buyer.
5.3 Lost or Delayed Shipments:
We are not responsible for delays or lost items caused by shipping carriers. Please ensure that your shipping address is correct before completing your order. If your item is lost or delayed in transit, we will do our best to assist in tracking or reshipping the item, but we cannot be held liable for any shipping issues.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 Damage to Product:
We are not responsible for any damage caused to the candle after it has been delivered to you. Proper care instructions must be followed to preserve the appearance and safety of the product. As previously stated, our candles are not intended for lighting, and misuse may result in damage.
6.2 Event-Specific Liability:
While we aim to provide high-quality, beautiful products, we cannot be held responsible for any issues related to the product during your event, including any mishaps or accidents that may occur from improper use.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
7.1 Personal Information:
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Any data collected through your order will only be used to fulfil your order and communicate with you regarding your purchase.
7.2 Third-Party Services:
We may use third-party services for payment processing, shipping, and other aspects of our business. These third parties are bound by their own privacy policies, and we recommend reviewing them before providing any personal information.
